Autumn 2013

Wow October went by really quick and I've been dealing with 4 infections on my fistula arm since September. It never ends.. Supposed to have surgery on November 1st to remove those nasty anerysms in my arm (common after being on dialysis for long time) but nephrologist's assistant says looks like i have another mild infection on my arm but i've been taking antibiotics by mouth and by IV at dialysis clinic. I pray that I still can get surgery so I can get those nasty mean anerysms out of my arm and it be back to normal.

Also its nice to know that there's some hearing impaired members of one group I'm in - just found out today. I've been hard of hearing since age 2, went to mainstream (both deaf/hearing schools) all my life then went to regular hearing high school and do lip read very well, speak well and use ASL.  I co-manage a deaf/hearing group - which was a former group of 10-11 years with deaf members but we merged with hearing members for the last 3 years and now its called Rad Divas. I no longer manage the group and gave the group to my long time wifey/friend Daz who manage. I'm one of the co-admins along with Vesta who is hearing and we have 3 deaf moderators and 1 hearing moderators helping the group out. Ya welcome to join us as we would like more pspers to join plus non pspers. Our group link is http://raddivas.forumotions.net/

Ok gonna be a busy month during the holidays but i will be around as much as I can and praying for that darn surgery to happen soon. I've also been losing weight due to the infections/not feeling well/stomach ache, etc.. sigh  oh yeah I'm also waiting to be on the transplant list for a kidney here in Spokane, Washington since moving here last June. Now waitin for them to get my paper works from UCSF in California and process through them and they will let me know whats the status of me getting on the transplant list.

Have a good month of November!

September Update

Wow, summer went by really fast and I've been having lots of problems with my fistula arm (i'm on dialysis for 3 years now), supposed to have surgery but that's postponed cuz of infection that happened after having a fistulagram. ughh, now i'm on antiobitics and today its healing good.

Been psping on and off over the summer plus enjoying my new hometown. Moved from California to Washington State last June to be near my sisters and hubby's brothers. Really enjoying the weather up here and loving the mountains/hills view. I went back to the same dialysis clinic that I went to last year while on vacation - that place is great and i'm still going 3 days a week.

Went to Spokane County State fair last week with hubby & my sister & her bf and had a great time.

Wow I love Autumn, can't wait to see falling leaves, beautiful autumn colors. It just started raining overnite and today.

August 2013

Wow August is here, I've been super busy this summer, Hubby & I finally moved up to Washington State on June 9th from blah California. Its soo gorgeous up here and really nice to see the hills/mountains. Took a summer break from groups & psping but came back to my main group Rad Divas earlier. Sure did missed my friends and psping.

All went well with my triple heart bypass last April and finally I can lift things more than 10 lbs after July 13th had passed. Moving days was hard cuz I really couldn't lift much but did all the packing and cleaning but sure was torture cuz while sweating during the hot temps in California, my scars was burning when sweat pours down so I had to put ice pack there.  Sure glad we finally settled down after a month and half. Our cats are enjoying it up here too. I have lost 14 lbs so far since the move and should be on the transplant list for a kidney but can't get transplant til 6 months after heart bypass so it should be any time after October.

Ok gonna post some latest tags I made over the summer. My next goal is to learn how to write tuts, make scrapkits and get back to scrapbooking too.

Have a good month of August.

April 2013

Hello everyone!

Sorry I'm so behind in updating my blog, been dealing with chest pains, low blood pressure and palpitations for the last few months while on dialysis plus a cold/cough for last 2 months - still coughing (gotta be allergies).  Just got stress echo, ediocardiogram done and wore a heart monitor - they said everything looked fine but I also went for cardiac catherization, the cardiologist finally found 2 blockage so he opt for me to get a heart bypass. Doc said its due to having diabetes for many years. So surgery is set for April 16th so gotta go dialysis Monday April 15th at 6:30am (my normal chair time is at 2:50pm) then afterwards head to Sacramento to go for pre-op then go over relative's house and stay overnite and surgery is at 5am on April 16th. I also found out from my mom that my grandparents did have a history of heart disease. ugh why am I the first one in my family to have a heart bypass. Been thru alot and made it through strong. I'm soooo nervous, not really liking the idea they'll cut me thru the sternum and crack my ribcage to fix my heart. They will use wire to tie the ribcage back together. I hope I make it through. I'll be taking a break from psping and groups for probably a month but I hope I recuperate fast enough cuz we're moving out of California in June. May will be a busy month with a classmates reunion picnic and a Goodbye California potluck with family and friends.  Got most stuff packed but only few things left we need to use. Had to pack some stuff cuz I won't be able to do any strenous work/lifting after surgery for 3 months. Not fun!

Plus April was a sad month for me cuz I lost my beloved furbaby girl Kali - she was my favorite companion for 18 years. She sure lived a long life and been with me through my ups and downs. I miss her soo much. I had her cremated (my first time having a cat cremated) and she's in a beautiful Maroon wooden box with her name Kali carved on it. She'll never be forgotten. Enjoy running free at Rainbow Bridge my dear girl. RIP Kali

Have a good month of April/May, cya when I get back.

Hugs
